do i have to buy lights that fit a HD BUMPER and grill instead of 2003 Tahoe headlights

 

also is it possible just to swap the bumper pad and be fine or do i need the whole bumper for a HD Silverado

 

its simple, but complicated.

Lights are the same, so that helps.

You will need:

Hood
Grille
Bumper
Bumper pad

You will need to cut off and lower the bumper mounts 1.5", which will require welding and good measuring. I saw a backyard mechanics special where they just put some 1/8" plate on there and redrilled it. Looked ******* horrid, and was complete trash. Bumper didnt fit for **** either thanks to some other **** they had going on

Right way to do it is to cut and reweld. Dont sacrifice your truck and safety by trying to half *** the bumper mounts.

 

thanks for the info seen that also on a video just wasnt sure if i had to weld or would it be fine to cut the plastic or something like that
