I got the privilege to talk to billy on one of his old threads about a year ago. I could easily tell he was a man with a big heart and loved his daughter A LOT! Sucks to find out such a good man is now gone. My prayers and condolences go to his family, friends, and his daughter.

Tom,

That was touching. I knew you two shared a very special friendship, as he always spoke so very highly of you and was looking forward to someday meeting you face to face. You still will someday.

Very well written post Tom. Thank you for sharing this, and I'm glad to see you back here. I wish it was under different circumstances.

Give me a call sometime this weekend if you can.

Well said Tom,
I'm shocked and saddened and I'll never forget the good times we had going back and forth about who was going to have their trans in first and then you paying the last 50.00 on his. I'm a better person for knowing you both.

I'm not perfect, nor is anyone. But I try to do far more right than wrong. I usually have success to a huge degree doin good, decent things but if we stumble, it's how we handle ourselves that defines us. To me, that's being human.

TXSZ66AVLANCHE, depression is real. It runs in my family, & I do get down a little sometimes, but weather the fight. My heart & mind are pretty tough.
But makin fun of is not the answer for any that have bouts.
Well said!!!

I suffered for along time with it. Then I finally reached out. While some understood and were willing to stand up, there were others that never did and probally never will. For me the hardest part was not having family members that understood or were supportive. Luckly I had a few friends that were and that made all the difference.

Depression is a lurking monster thats hard to get away from, and unless you've been through it it's hard to explain. Like some of yall, after high school I lost a close friend and dealt with it for 2 years (worst 2 years of my life). I tried to talk to my folks but they just couldnt relate for whatever reason or another. When I met my wife she literally saved my life, she was the only person that I could ever relate too, and I will never be able to thank her enough. If any of you on here ever feel like your being sucked into the blackhole that is depression please talk to someone on here or someone in your personal life. Just know that it can and does get better,

R.I.P Budhayes3 may you find peace!
