    i've only had one update as well... and after a couple minutes of driving, it'd pop up the "update me" screen and freeze the radio & HVAC in their current states (volume, station, blower speed, temp) and wouldn't allow access to any other screen or function on the head unit (camera, seat heaters, settings, etc). it even locked out the physical buttons and wouldn't let you blank the screen. the only choices were to start the install or turn the truck off (granted, i didn't try pulling the radio fuse - which still lets the HVAC & heaters work through the buttons).

    that was unacceptable in my book.

    then i also learned some of the stuff the vehicle is logging & reporting to FCA in the background regardless of your subscription, warranty status, or what you've asked them to not track. SCREW that! it ain't none of their business.

    i say it's worth doing - and if you feel like you can't live without some of the stuff, simply reinstall the card. easy as that.
