I am thinking about buying a braided line to replace the line that needs to be cut, does anyone know what length line I would need so I can order it?

OP, I have a 1996 half ton with the factory aux trans cooler. I would like to replace it with the tru-cool 40K that I ordered and use the existing lines. Does this kit fit my 96? Thanks.

I don't have a 88-98 Style truck to test, but I highly doubt it just bolts on. You might be able to use the brackets for a good starting point but I honestly have no idea how it will fit. I'm also unsure of how the lines run and if they need to be modified or not.

ill tell you the brackets wont fit. the OBS style core has a single brace going down the center not like the nbs that has like an A frame where these bolt to. i not know about the aux cooler as i dont know what fittings those have as min was only into the rad. what i did with that was to take the top line out of the read and use an addaptor that screwed in/on and tuned it into a nipple to put ht rubber hose on. now if you can take a loser look at the coolers fittings and maybe take a pic er can help you farther.

Darn, I can not take a pic because I am out of town on business until Friday, and I need to install this weekend before towing on a long trip. Guess I have my work cut out for me making this work this weekend. Thanks for trying.

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I have a '07 NBS Suburban 2500 and I commute to the D area on a regular basis from up north. Do you still need a truck for fit testing? I have the 4L80E.
