Right except for the 3.5 in hose clamp holding the cold pipe to the throttle body and blew off. Lol
This should be a solid kit when all said and done |

Thanks guys. Here's a vid from the owner after the oil fix and muffler and tips on
2010 jeep srt8 turbo exhaust sound - YouTube 2010 jeep srt8 turbo idle - YouTube I'll ask if he wants to come to new era open house |

Thanks
The oil problem was fixed by removing the passenger valve cover. Drilling he front center and tapping it w a 1/2 barb nipple. I put a stock style oil filler cap on it and all issues were solved. Hooked the oil drain to the barb. Looks good, works great, most people wouldn't even see it. He asked me to put the 7 lb spring in. The owner was putting some miles on it and had a couple tunes from Johan. Then took it to the local 1/8 mile. Ended up w a best of 60' = 1.9 1/8 = 8.3 @ 87 For some reason his 60' sucks... Stock jeeps do 1.8s and I think I did a 1.7 in Jack's. I bet if he brake boosts it it would launch like an animal. And really show off the power it makes. I put it on the dyno and it only showed 4 psi in 4th gear and made 452 rwhp. For only showing 4 psi that's about 21 hp per psi on an unwrapped hot side rear mount. I asked him how much boost it makes on the road but he wasn't sure. I really need to drive this thing to see how much boost it makes and then drive it at the track to make a good pass. 87 trap is quick but I think this thing has more in it. |
Any new track numbers on this one?
