After careful consideration, I'm rating this transaction as "neutral".
Zach is a great seller, he has extensive feedback to back that up and I'd buy from him again in a heartbeat. All of the logistical parts of this transaction and amount of communication were excellent as usual.
However, one thing I have a problem with is when a seller doesn't know what they're selling. With all due respect, there's no excuse for that. The ad was for an LT1 AS&M 54mm TB, but it did not specify model year fitment. Had the ad stated "92-93 LT1 AS&M 54mm TB", I wouldn't have bought it knowing that it wouldn't fit my car without some level of "customization".
Specifically, the IAC housings and IAC are different in 92-93 and 94-97 LT1s, and to complicate matters, AS&M TBs have their own IAC housings and a stock one will not bolt on. Now, I have to either (A) contact AS&M for a correct IAC housing (tried that, not helpful); (B) adapt my existing wiring to work with a 92-93 IAC, or (C) send the TB back. I'm 100% certain if I chose (C) Zach would promptly take the TB back and issue me a refund, and he did give me an honest apology.
In the end, I should've been a little more diligent, but a seller really should know what they're selling to avoid things like this.

I'm sorry about the throttle body being the wrong year for you...but you really should ask questions like these instead of buying and then being mad that you didn't get exactly what you wanted. You blame me but I did not misrepresent this throttle body. I did not offer it as a 94-97. I could see your frustration if that's what happened but it's not. I don't think a neutral is warranted just because you had to do a little extra work. I've done it plenty of times when I buy things...it's part of the game. It does no good to be upset about it. I would rather you had not made any feedback. I take a lot of pride in my deals here and I do the best I can for my buyers...I guess you just can't please everyone. But think about it. By posting a neutral what are you really giving back? Nothing. It does nobody any good besides make me look bad when that's completely unfair.

Zach,
As far as the "neutral" feedback score is concerned, if you have that much of a beef about it, maybe you could suggest to the moderators to have that option removed? I think that would be a mistake though.
My intention was and is to convey my feelings to you about the transaction overall without wrecking your feedback score, which obviously wouldn't have been warranted, hence the "neutral" instead of "negative". Notice your positive feedback score is still at 100%, and I didn't say anything that wasn't true. What I left for feedback isn't going to stop anyone from buying from you, it shouldn't and I think we both know that.
