Bought a bare block that seller said only needed a hone.Got it and had spun main

Bought a bare block that was supposedly just checked out by machine shop. I was told by seller it just needed a light hone. Received the block and saw that it had spun a main bearing that damaged the block. I would have never bought it if I knew it was damaged. Seller never made it good.
