Default Yes it's another lq4 823 headed swap. Got alot of questions. And yes am searching!

I have a 99 Z71 ECSB I has a tired 5.3 that's leaking from nearly every gasket and has nearly 300k miles. Had the 4L60 rebuilt about 3,000 miles ago and upgraded servos and clutches and had a shift kit installed. It has a K & N filter, throttle body spacer, shorty headers and a flowmaster 40 series exhaust. And 2 weeks ago I found a 6.0 long block for 275 bucks. It was in a fire so I tore it down and inspected rod bearing and they look mint. Spins over easily with a 3/8's ratchet and a 24mm socket. So I think the bottom end is good. Next I found a set of LS3 heads (823's) for 500 bucks. And I have located a L92 intake, fuel rails, injectors, throttle body and map sensor for 200 bucks. Now what I am needing is a ton of swap information. I have been reading everything i can find on this swap and have found some good information but still in need of more info. This is a list I have made and please let me know if there is anything I have missed that I am in need of.

L92 Intake manifold--since it doesn't need 6500 rpm I see no need for a ls3
Cable throttle body--92mm? Do i need a harness or something?
Accelerator cable mount
Lifters--Can I use the stock LQ4's if they are in good shape?
Lifter trays
LS3 Rocker arm mounts
LS3 Rocker arms
Offset rocker arm kit
Push rods--Can the stock 7.4's be used?
Valve covers--Stock 5.3's?
Oil pump--Melling oil pump is what I am leaning towards
Oil pan--Gonna reuse the 5.3
LS3 top end gasket set
Timing chain--Leaning towards cloyes
Timing cover--reuse the 5.3
Valve springs--Pac-1218's?
Keepers
All sensors
Coil packs
Exhaust manifolds--Ihave shorty's but kind of leaning towards LS3's
Cam kit ---going to speak with Patrick about a cam.
Cam bearings
Injector harness

Now I am aware I can reuse a lot of this from the 5.3 and I will be doing so with as much of the parts as I can.

Forgot to mention I will either order a black bear tune or I will drive down to see Charlie Wheatley in Sealy Texas

You can reuse the lifters if they are in good shape but I wouldn't personally. A set of LS7s would be beneficial to long term reliability considering the cam lobes will be fresh. Plus they're only $140.

You'll be running more lift on a stiffer valve spring so you'll need hardened pushrods. I would measure for length after installing the heads and then order the correct pushrods.

You may need L92 valve covers depending on the baffling. I know some model valve cover baffles interfere with the offset rockers.

You'll need an LS3 style timing cover due to the cam sensor location. That being said, also a cam sensor harness extension.

You'll also need a Lingenfelter conversion box if running a 58X reluctor wheel.

What year is the 6.0? If it is a gen 3 that has the knock sensors in the valley, reuse your cam sensor from the 5.3 and you shouldnt need a converter box. And your timing cover from the 5.3 will work just fine. Valve covers from a gen 4 will be required for those heads, will also need to either convert to returnless or get ahold of the vette filter to be able to connect the l92 fuel rails.... cable driven throttle body doesng need any sort of harness, just transfer iac and tps over

Then reuse all the gen 3 stuff you can! As far as manifolds go are you somewhere you have to have stock manifolds and cats for emissions?
