Will the factory 4l80e hold up?

I got my 93 80e with converter for $400.

Then put $2300 in it and left it on the shelf haha.

Found a guy that had 95 454 with the trans wanting to sell both together. Asked him if he wanted to sell the trans and said $250, asked where he was from, come to find out he just lived a few miles away and brought it to me.

My core I got for $350 out of an '05 Express. I was about to offer $400 for it but before I could get the words out, he said $350.


Yes, it'll hold up just fine. If it's out, though, you may as well dual feed it or at least stick a shift kit in it.
