6.2 L Afm delete with performance cam
I was able to get my hands on a 2010 Escalade with the 6.2L that afm has failed on cylinder#2. So I am planning on building the motor but want to go with performance option. What will be the best bet for a performance cam for this motor. The engine will remain in the escalade. Plan on installing cam, exhaust system and will be tuning vehicle for upgrades. I see there are a few options on tires for this motor. This will be my first time messing with a 6.2L. Got the vehicle so cheap it was on of those couldn't pass up deals. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Do you want to keep the factory stall converter with this setup?
That will play a role in what size camshaft to pick. Also how daily driver friendly you want it to drive also kinda dictates how big the cam should be.
Lots of decent cam options out there is the small to medium range size that will give the 6.2 a nice power bump over stock.

I am torn between staying with stock converter or switching to a aftermarket stall. The vehicle will be a semi daily driver/ weekend toy. I want to make the most power improvement i can while still being streetable

I have this cam in my 6.2 and it screams...uses LS3 Valve Springs and works
perfect with the stock converter....
6.2 Stage 1 LS Truck Camshaft (206/216-117+4) - Cam Motion
