Ok guys, mods in sig, pulled my fast intake off the truck tonight to do a swap, got to lookin and the #2 intake port on the head is WAAAY cleaner than the other 7, I'm not sure if i had an injector problem or what, lookin for advice on this one, gonna do a compression test on it tommorow when i get off work. just hopin for the best as i only have around 3,000 miles on this motor................any insight?

Damn that's strange usually one might be cleaner but its usually towards the bak. I'm interested to see what other say here. GL man

Maybe that injector is sticking open and washing the cylinder down?

Thats what I'm stuck on, its either stuck open and washing it down, or not puttin any fuel out. The injectors are racetronixs 44# flow matched, have maybe 5,000 miles on em, hell i may have a bad connection, who knows..

Have not pulled it yet but last time i changed them before i hit the track it looked different than the rest, sorta brown lookin, what does that tell ya?

That it is getting oil in the cylinder, or as you fear, too much fuel.

well, checked compression with the intake off, shot up to 225 relly fast, valves are good, pushrods, spark plug was brownish, i hooked injectors back upt and srun it and all spit fuel out just fine, im thinkin maybe a bad connection or i didnt plug it up real good on that injector

If you had a bad connection the spark plug wouldn't be brown would it?

Brown = too much fuel.

A fouled plug would be black or wet.
A poor electrical connection on the injector would cause the injector to not fire properly, which would result in a lean cylinder, and the plug would be white, not brown.

To the OP, I believe you may have an injector problem. If you don't want to send out the injectors until you know for sure, move that injector to a different cylinder and recheck it after you put some miles on it. Don't race it or beat on it until the problem is solved.
