sorry to dig a little, but what is everyones opinion on the thumpr cam with ls6 yellow springs on a 5.3 with a TB stall, 4.56's and 33's? already got bolt ons (minus headers) and a blackbear tune. im mainly tryin to gain a good choopy idle sound, not lose any down low, but gain throughout the rpm range.

There are definitely better cams you could choose, but I'm sure it would do pretty good. If you are getting it cheap or used than sure, but I wouldn't pay full price for one. Do you already have the TB stall? If not, maybe consider a bigger one. Don't forget to keep an eye on the classified sections. Just about any cam with less than 220 duration would be good for you.

In the vid with the Lightning I throttled back before the 1000ft. when I realized he was no way going to run me down. It went 11.69 but I slowed it down to 106 mph. He went 119.

My truck is capable of mid to high 11's n/a and should break high 10's on a 125 shot.
I can do 1.7x 60' on the street tires and 1.4x on drag radials and transbrake.

By the way, the vette said he dynoed 492rwhp at Lingerfelter's. I feel my motor is making more than 500hp at the crank, maybe 4xxrwhp.
Now all this is

The Thumpr cams are geared towards hot rods and street rods with LS engine swaps, they make more noise than power. There are much better cams out there that will suit your needs

But I'm sure that they sound mean as hell!
