I want a bigger cam. Right now I'm looking at a 218/224 562/567 on 113, or a 221/221 559/559 on 114. How different are these cams? Don't seem like much to me. I have a n/a 2000 Z-71 with the 5.3. I'm planning to get a TB stall, or similar. Will that be enought for eigther cam? Also what kind of drivability issues will they have? Thanks for the help. I'm learning, just not quite there yet.

 

IMO you wont have any driveability issues especially with the tb stall. Im not a cam expert so I wont comment on the differences between the two cause I would probably be wrong. From what I can tell they wont be hard to tune and you will still have good vacuum for your brakes.

Yes the mud is fun. Why 4lo? Just spray it and get it over with. Then you can do 4hi rooster tails like I do. The 3000 stall makes it alot of fun.

 

Something about that 4Lo launch. Maybe I'll shoot it with a 100 shot too. Houston, we're ready for lift off

 

I owuldnt recommend 4lo launches with a stall and nitrous its hard on the transfer case. Mine is making a whining sound some times now.
