stroker motor questions.
i've been doing some searching but a lot of the threads are 6 or more years old. that being said, with new technology in pistons how are 402's and the like on burning oil? i seen some little things that can help keep them from burning oil like chamfering the bottoms of the bores.
just wondering, i was thinking of going with a 3.875" stroke to keep from having an oil burner if need be. |
Seems to be a thing of the past. Quite a few 4" strokes around now IMO. I would search around on tech

it seems wiseco has made some good pistons to help against the oil burning.

i've read and read and read. every time i find a thread or a site about 408 strokers using oil its 6 plus years old. the new stuff that is out for these builds are getting cheaper and better made. i don't want to go to a 3 bar os in order to make my power goal so i'm thinking if i make more power N/A then i will need less boost. That being said more displacement should equal more power easier. hmmmm :secret2::devil:
i blame all this on the damn 6L. had i never installed it i would still be on my small displacement kick. :bang: |
