Haven't pulled the valve covers yet - maybe I'll do that tonight...I'm betting I won't find much but who knows lol.

Like I said, I know both of the previous owners - purchased brand new in Cali and went through 3 brothers in high school as a hand me down first truck, then sold to my other buddy who only had it 3 months before selling it to me. It could have easily been sibling rivalry but I doubt they would come clean about that haha. Oil pressure was always great fyi and it had no indication that there was anything wrong EXCEPT FOR THE ROCKS COMING OUT OF THE OIL PAN!!! Hahaha

Had the truck ever had work done to the engine where those rocks could have gotten in? I can't tell from the pic, but I wonder if they would fit down the drain holes in the head from the oil cap.

They look to big to fit down the oil galleys without at least hitting something else first... Gives new meaning to like a rock!!

That's the plan - it's actually going in a car so I'm getting an f body oil pan and a little snail to help things along.
