Default Push Rod Diameter

I've been searching and I can't find the answer. I am doing some supporting mods in preparation for a turbo on my 2003 4.8 with the 862 heads and I'm looking for some hardened pushrods, but I'm not sure what diameter pushrods to go with; 5/16" or 3/8". I almost pulled the valve covers off to see if I could measure them today but I figured I'd see if anyone on here knew first. Thanks for the help!

Stock ones are 5/16...you want the biggest ones you can find in the length you need. The added weight is well worth it. I have the comp 3/8" pushrods.

ok, sweet. Thanks atomic. So those 3/8's aren't going to have any trouble fitting? They'll drop right in and I won't have to change anything to use them?
