My motor is still at the machine shop but I am doing the same thing. Are you going to use the stock heads and truck intake? Give us specs of what you are going to do to the motor ( heads, cam, intake, etc)

well we already know that with a few gm parts
you can have 405 at the crank on that 5.7.
some here have their 5.3's pushing 330 to 335 hp at the rear NA.
do some of the same as they did should have you close to
around 380 to 385 at the rear maybe a little more.

Nice.. Honestly.. Im tired of those rice queers and there damn turbo 4's runnin their mouths.. Just want something that will make em think twice.. I want a low 12sec possibly high 11 n/a truck.. Its not my dd but want to be able to crusie with my buddies every once in a while.. MPG dont matter.. I got my 96 sentra for that.. Gonna go with the truck intake.. stock heads gettin ported and milled.. Stayin with them for now
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"227 xTReme" - 227/227 .639/.639 116 LSA. 2200-6800 RPM If it will work with that set up.. thinkin 3200 to 3500 stall back to 4.10s in the rear..
