its a common myth all over the net, from the factory all LS6 engines use the same oil pump, bearings, rod bolts, push rods....the only difference in the LS6 is the block casting.

I just felt like I fell for the throttle body spacer myth, but this is great news $$$$$ wise. Now I know not to pay more for an "LS6 OIL PUMP"

Where is the cheapest place online yall have found to get this so called "GM universal" oil pump

 

I think its the same as the L99 camaro , I got one for my cusine Idels at 45 and goes over 80psi at 3000rpm+

 

So if I have a LS3 the LSA oil pump will bolt right up?

 

Stupid question, they are the same oil pump according to GM parts direct.
