Default Ly6 piston rings

I'm going to be assembling my ly6 later today it's .020 over with a 224 ss cam on a 112 with 799 heads I was trying to figure out what I need the pistons gaped for I plan on spraying 75-100 shot down the road any help is greatly appreciated? Does any one know what my compression ratio would be also? Thanks joe

70 some replies and no one can extend some advice? I've done a lot of searching just most of what I find is for people with turbo applications and there setting then around .028 or so and all of mine are .022-.024 idk if that'll be ok with a 100 shot or if ill need more gap. Thanks joe.

Look on the ring manufacturers website for gap recommendations. Where did you get .020" over pistons?

Ill check there web site for the gap thank you. I got the pistons from my machine shop i don't remember the brand off the top of my head ill have to double check that when I get home
