LS1 Swap vs Mod the 5.3...?

you are gonna spend more money on the machine work and pistons than you would just get a 6.0.

Depending on the year 5.3 they were different but I believe most 5.3's have 26lb injectors. And yes they can get maxed out with just a cam swap depending on the size cam.

Thumbs up 03 Tahoe with a LS1

Hi i did that swap from a 5,3 to 5,7 with 317 heads an a 90 mm intake.
It goes like a rocket and it is daily driven.
I'll never go back to the truck block.....
