I have an LQ4 and have been told by a guy at a gm dealership that there is lots different between the Lq9 and the LQ4.. Nut Guys at a hot rod shop that deal alot with the gen III motors say that the only real difference is the pistons.. They told me that the heads, cam, bottom end are all the same, rockers are the same. Just that the LQ9 has flat top pistons so abit higher compression.. But not sure who to beleive????? Need help!!!
