Idling problem after cam swap
#1
I have a 6.0 that I just put an EPS 226/230 110 LSA cam in. The truck is now idling at 700 rpm but keeps dying. This is with a manual transmission. I have a trailblazer SS intake with an Edelbrock 90 mm throttle body on it also. I tried adjusting the idle screw on the throttlebody but it doesn't seem to change the idle speed any. The truck will idle fine but if you give it gas, it drops below 700 and dies out. Will a computer tune bumped up to 900 rpm fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

As mentioned above, the PCM needs to be adjusted to compensate for the extra air and fuel that cam will be moving. Since it's idling fine, I highly doubt that the idle speed will need to go any higher, but MAF, VE, etc. now need attention.
