hardened push rods??

Are they necessary??? Im doin a ls6 cam with springs. I was thinkin about doing push rods too but don't think they are Necessary. I probably won't spin the motor past 6000 anyway.

What do you guys think?

I'd call it realatively cheap insureance against a bent rod. I think it's worth it.

depending on which ls6 cam you go with you'll need longer pushrods anyways. You'll need the 7.425" ones.

Why not do it though man? You probably have at least $6000 into your engine, what's $75 and half an hour of work going to set you back?

6,000??? I don't consider my turbo part of the motor, lol. Im doing an 04 ls6 cam. Who's got em for 75 bucks? and do they have them in a 7.425 length?

PM me if not a sponsor.

Thanks guys.

Just look on ls1tech for someone selling a new or used set. I've seen them go for as cheap as $60 brand new. Pushrods don't really wear out either. They're just a long metal rod, nothing special. However, they do bend if they aren't strong enough.

Have some for $75 + shipping and they are 7.425" texas speed. Pm me if you want them.
