Eps 222/226 cam

nothing wrong with the 110+2, it will just lope a little harder other then that you wont ever notice. The tight lsa will make a broad power band and make the engine feel snapy

I dont see how just a 243 with a valve job would do better then a ported head, 243 is a damm good head but its better when its ported, havent seen a single guy lose hp or tq anywere below most stall speeds they just seem to gain power everywere. dont think you would go wrong with a ported head.

runner volume on a ported head is to big for a 5.3
basically the air would stop flow and lose speed because of size when the valve would close is how explained it
said it wasnt worth the price when a 243 head with valve job would be equal in performance

Im running the truck torque 3
224/230 .610/.605 on a 111lsa +2
LT's, 65e, 3.73s, trutrac, intake, 31lbrs, and tune. It runs great.
Considering i went from a V6, to this. I haven't had time for dyno/track numbers yet. Just a few mexico runs. Im not complaining one bit. You'll like the eps cam. Do some searching on ls1tech. Those guys are putting great power and times with small-mild cams. Plus the eps lobes supposedly aren't as hard on the valvetrain.
Hope that helps

Any dyno numbers or idle clips with this cam?
