Default Engine problems. my car wont turn over. ??

If any other mustang owners have had the same problems as me let me know.. cuz i whent to 3 machanics and nobody can figure out whats wrong. ... i go to start my car, and it typically starts up fine, but randomly, it will decide not to turn over when i start it and then wont turn over for quite some time. I'll go to start it 4 hours later though, and it works. Obviously a bad problem cuz i don't want to get stranded haha. They thoguht it was the fuel pump, so i got it replaced and it still does the same thing.

If anyone has advice, or had this problem let me know. Thanks guys

it helps to know what it DOES do.
Does it crank? does it sound like it's firing? does it click? what does it do

If it won't crank over it could be a bad battery, bad starter, bad ground, bad ignition, wrong key.

If it does not crank over try crawling underneath it and hitting the starter with a hammer and try to crank it then...

There's no way a bad fuel pump could keep an engine from turning over, except maybe a mechanical pump driven off of the end of the cam. Even then, there must be a key to shear if the pump locked up.
