Smile Engine swap or stroker?

What's it tAke to swap in an LS motor in an 08 1500 4x4 5.3 or a 6.0? Or what's it take to get this 5.3 really humpin with n/a? How much good does a head, cam and intake swap put down on a stock bottom end with full boltons?

I would do the bolt-ons first since they would transfer to the stroker or swap unless you go with L-92 heads, and they would be nessacary to take real advantage of the swap.

A 5.3 with full bolt-ons would be pretty close to a storker with no bolt-ons, and far more efficient.

Correction; cfm rules. Period.

If it's going to be a vehicle you commute to work/school in, a bored and stroked 4.8L/5.3L to a 383 would outperform the 6.0L in every way when it comes down to what makes a daily driver just that.

Is there a company on here that offers a kit for the 5.3's?
