Thinking about my cam choices for my 4.8. I had a tr220 on a 112 in my 5.3 and it was pretty decent. Should I stick with that on my 4.8? Not wanting to go with a huge stall or anything, just looking for good lope and lowend power. This will also be my dd. Thanks for the advice.

 

Get the comp 212/218 custom on a 112lsa...perfect for a 4.8 and it will lope

 

Have to check it out. You can run yellow z06 springs with that cam too can't you?

With the "low lift" no problem...With the high lift you would be right at the limit of a ls6 spring...probably be fine..But you could maybe get some PAC springs for added insurance...
Any of Comps "truck cams" would work well in a 4.8 as well
