The 112 LSA will move the power band back down in the RPM band a bit, so that will counteract the bit larger duration. It should have a fairly choppy idle as well. What springs were you planning on running with it?

Which cam is better 220/220 551,551 112 or the 220/224 581,581,112

220-220 will pull better form idle to 4500-5000 rpm, the 220-224 will make more power after that, so its pretty much what ever you want more. both will work real well.

Which cam will work better on top end

Black08Chevy Dec 4, 2011 09:11 PM

220/224 will pull a little more and with a 3600-4k stall will be a beast. I run a 224/230 with a 3600 stall and it runs very strong.

I have a 3200 stall would that work for the 220/224 cam

Black08Chevy Dec 4, 2011 09:48 PM

yea it would be a great stall, but like all mods theres always better.
