well ive got a 90 mustang coupe that im looking to build a LS1 for. Just wanted a little help on what to build. Im looking for about 700-750 whp... I just bought a block and crank the other day for 200 bucks. So this will be my starting foundation. As of right now though i dont know what pistons to run... Im looking at a set of 317 heads with a little port work, and also a S-400 80mm turbo. Anyone have any info for my one what kinda pistons i shoud look into or just any basic info? i will be upgrading to a cast block once this one blows, but for right now its just what i have.
