Amen to this. I'm hitting $4k + easy with my current Stroker "refresh" & I'm using my current AFR 230 heads. And that's before the Procharger costs to come later.

To really do a full reliable turbo install, its going to be all of that 4K.

$350 4l80e from a '00 2500 Van - Stage III rebuild kit from Jake's and I'm more than pleased. Stay away from Monster. Plenty of other good builders around with two of them as sponsors on this site.

I have a 4l80 now. But it's not from monster either......
I was just expressing my lack of satisfaction with Monster's customer service for a **** product.
