Broke a valve spring HELP

Like the title says. I broke a PAC 1518 650 lift behive valve spring with only 3,000 miles on it. I pulled the valve covers off yesterday just to check everything out since they haven't been pulled since the cam swap and sure enough one was broke. I never heard a rattle or tapping so I cant tell you how long its been broke. Truck doesn't run weird or anything. like I said I was just checking everything out and saw it. question is can I buy just One spring or do I have to buy a whole set. there were $250 from texas speed. Or should I say screw these and go with something different. Hopefully if Im lucky the valves not bent and I can just put a new spring on and keep trucking.

If it were me I'd take them all off and get another set of spring. If one spring broke another could break as well.

that sucks, I have never seen a set of Pac 1218 or 1518 springs break.

Just get a new set of springs like dirt track racer said.

you're not the first to break one . . .

I never heard one single thing bad about these springs so hopefully it was just a fluke. If i did go with something else what would you recommend?

thanks tootall. Is it common with the 1518s or just one of them things that happen?

I've got roughly 5k on a set of Lunati .660 lift springs. They were around $215 shipped. I've also ran patiot dual springs and never had a problem. I'll never run or suggest a single valve spring.

Kyle, I just emailed you on this but figured I'd post it here in case you don't check your email so often. They (PAC) just want you to ship that broken spring back to them, and they're going to send a complete set of replacement springs out to you today!

Check your email for more details! :)
