OP - you are all over the place. First you say you want more peak power. Then you say that you want more power under the curve. Then several people tell you that you need to shorten your durations some. Then you say you found a 227 cam with .639 lift and ask what we think of it. FYI, with your current set-up, I think that it will perform worse than the cam that you previously had and it will also kill your valvetrain (including lifters). There is also no point going much above .600" lift if you still have stock heads.
You need to decide what it is that you really want (power band, stall speed, valvetrain durability/noise, etc.) and have someone that knows what they are doing recommend or spec a cam for you because it is clear that you don't have a clue. I would say something like the 218 cam stock48 noted would certainly be in the ballpark.
