Like I said this is going to be put in my '00 rcsb dd. The build will consist of a na '03 6.0 block (.030 or .040). Dont know the bore yet as I will take it to the machine shop fri. For pistons I will use sealed power hypereuctectic dished, 243's w/ a little massage to them. The cam is going to be GMPP ASA cam: duration @ .050in 226/236, lift .525/.525. Shorty headers till I get enough money saved up, trying to get it done as my dad is sick with cancer and I know his love for cammed Chevy's is like mine. K&N cai, the tranny will get done after the motor is installed it ill be a 4l65e with a tbss tc, the rearend will get 3.73's and tru trac.
I have the FAST 102mm intake but a friend of mine said that I should go with the stock 5.3 intake, Whats you thoughts and input on it? Thanks for your input.

Sounds like a nice setup man... only thing I'm curious about is the cam choice. Do you already have it? My experience would recommend good proven 6.0 cams like the classic tr224 or the 228r.. don't like going into the 230's in a truck. Get some longtubes as soon as you can and should be stout. The 102 is a nice piece but a tad overkill on a cam only 6.0 .. I say stay with that stock intake for now. Was the 102 the lsxrt for trucks or the car version?

@robert91rs- Whats the difference between the two?
@kazfan30- I have the lsxrt truck intake, and I have the cam already to, but Ive seen some good things of it. Well see how it goes. Why do you not like hit the 23x range?

I say definitely run the intake since you have it.. it will be a gain and surely won't hurt it.. lol. I personally like smaller cams in ls motors overall but especially in trucks. And since you going tb tc its a small stall so I would keep a torquey cam to get that heavy girl rolling.
you may end up liking that cam but a 228r would be beast with that intake and boltons. Also look into circle ds stalls I picked my 3k for under 400.00 and it did great! And will like that setup. Good luck man

The TBSS stall speed is similar to your factory stall. The 4.2 stall is in the 2500-2800rpm range, but if you have the cash CircleD is def your best option.
As for the Cam and intake, I tend to agree with some of the others. If you sell them you could get a NNBS/TBSS intake and a TR224/TSP224 cam kit.
