? about DOD/AFM delete
 

Looking into upgrade cam, springs,rods and extras but comp tech told me I need the dod/afm delete kit I never messed with this my question is does the kit come with everything I need and if there is any tricks or helpful info I would appreciate the help? It 08 gmc sierra 1500 5.3l

i did the dod/vvt cam from comp.

Was it worth it? Comp tech said im proly not going to get the power I want out of it. I also have a procharger on it but just upgrading internal parts now thats why they suggested getting rid of the dod/afm. Did you upgrade springs or anything else?

I have an AFM cam from comp as well but I am looking to delete dod and change the cam as I know I would gain much more than the setup I currently have. DOD lifters and valley covers are very restricting.

i went with ls6 blue springs and yella terra 1.8 rockers for about 536 lift with the dod cam.
