Default 6.0 guys in here ASAP

i recent had some one install my cam and now im having oil pressure issues i took it in and now theyre telling me that its going to cost 975 dollars to replace the oil pump and reinstall with all new fluids, gaskets, and filter. i told them about the o-ring being damaged from what i read in the forum and they said since theyre pulling out the oil pump might as well replace it i need help opions anything....i cant do it myself because im training and getting ready to deploy to afghan...another one to the list number 5 now...

that's the biggest crock of sh*t. They screwed up on the install so they should fix it for free.

An oil pump is a little over 100. bucks, can't believe more than 4 hours work, if 60.00 per hour & o ring , gasket etc.....400.00 or so!

Thats a little weird. After I did my cam install about 5000 miles latter the oil pump went. I little under a grand seems really high. I bought a new pump for around $100 and it took like said about around 4 hours. You basically have to do everything the same as when you pull the cam out. But that price seems high. Where are you located?

It sounds like they either messed up the o-ring or didnt engage the pickup to the pump all the way. What psi is your oil gauge showing?
