5.3 to lq4 6.0
Hey friends, I have a 2003 Silverado reg cab short wheel base with a lm7 5.3 4l60e. I was going all out turbo but plans have changed due to multiple back surgeries. So going to put the 6.0 in with 243 heads milled .030. Cam is a custom grind cam 222/227 601/598 113 Just curious what will the compression be and how well that cam will work NA And want to know if the tbss intake and TB will work if its plug and play. Your input is very welcomed. Thanks Mike

NNBS Int
yes, the new style int will work if you have
a return less fuel system, if not you will
need to mod the fuel rail for a fuel return.
the easiest way is to use a Vette fuel filter
you mite also need inj harness adapters

You should be around 370 to 390 to the wheels with that setup
I'm at 373hp and 416trq with a smaller cam 218/224 ported 799 Milled .030 , long tubes true dual with x pipe, tbss intake and 4.11 gears

Can you swing doing some low cost hyperutectic pistons? If so Bore that sucker out and throw some flat tops in it.
WS6 store has 4.040 flat tops, I'd also be interested in 4.065 (LS3) stock replacements, at one point I saw them for roughly $300

With the LQ4 dished pistons and those heads and factory gaskets you should be right around 10.8x using the summit compression calculator. With a .041 gasket 11.1x
This was figured with a 59.5 cc head
IIRC 30 thousandths off a 243/799 nets around 59-60cc chamber
