Default 402 with ls3 heads and cam ?

So the compression is 10.8.1 with .051 gaskets and 74 cc heads, my question is will a 226/246 on 110 with .601/.612 with 115 work very well in this combo.
This is a supercharger grind for ls3 style heads and I will be spraying a 300 dp on this.
Any comments/advice welcome thanks

Dont be a ***** josh...go to a 400 hit and it wont matter, hahaha. I also strongly recomend setting it up like carter, race gas is expensive in ak....

Thanks lol its your old engine and to get the comp that low I have to run 74cc heads and whack .010 of the pistons. I have no problem with methanol stand alone.
PS i gave bill my cash for the Smithcraft bars

I wouldnt take any off those pistons if your gonna hit it that big....plus your gonna want compression with the methanol

And awesome on the bars, ask him about the straps, we are trying to get the same thing going.

how big where the valves in your pro 1 heads ?
I hear you about piston crown thickness and that might back me off on the hit but, its going in the SS and I gotta dd with it

youll be fine on pump gas, i ran it with stock ls6 heads and had no knock issues at all. I should be right around 11.1 with the ls6 heads, i cant imagine they would be 10.75 with some big chambers. more like 10.1.

I think the valves where 2.08 but i dont remember. I may be sending those off to get fixed sometime soon. I think im going to put them on a stock bottom 6.0 over the winter. That is if that guy from fairbanks returns one of my exhaust valves....

Yeah thats all he talks about on the phone, hahaha. Thats good though! We need more trucks out there.
