just finished installing transmission in my 1995 Z71 after rebuilding it and when you put in drive or manual 3rd, it will not move. Manually select 2nd or 1st and it drives at high rpms because there is no third or fourth. i rebuilt trans because trans was fried. turns out previous owner for some reason bypassed trans cooler and had tried to convert truck to two wheel by putting a 700R and eliminating transfer case. big mess but got what i needed for this truck and got it running but never checked the cooler lines. well after about three hundred miles or so 3rd and 4th clutch packs got fried. i rebuilt trans completely, clutch packs and seals and air tested but now when put in drive there is no response. you can hear vehicle go into gear as rpms drop but no movement even with acceleration. anyone had this issue or point me in the right direction. ive never messed with transmissions so this is all new to me and any info would be appreciated.
