Default Headers question on supercharged 5.3

My headers and y pipe just arrived from speed engineering and I want to put them on but it will be a few weeks before I can take it to get tuned. So my question is can I put them on and drive it around just fine until I get it tuned, or will the CEL it throws reduce engine power or go into limp mode?

The truck is a 2015 5.3 sierra with torqstorm supercharger at 6 psi and a mbrp exhaust

Made outside the USA and they are slip fits is the many reason for price.

They work good though if you can make them seal nice with band clamps or welding.

I know that Speed Engineering is based out of Fresno but I don't think they made there. After following their other threads for the past while, it seemed everything was shipped out of the US to some factory. At times it was 2-4 months to get their shipments in when they were creating the new headers/y-pipe for the 07-13 models.

He actually went and spoke with the owner. Swore he makes them there. But I don't believe it by how cheap they are.

The quality seems pretty good but yes they are slip fit but I will get them welded together though.

Had to go look up a torqstorm supercharger, eco priced blower, got any pics? Who makes the compressor?

i would make sure you get a tune with headers since you are on boost, especially with the new DI ecu's. You will probably lose a 1lb of boost if they are decent headers, but lb/min of air will probably go up, thus you will probably running lean.

flexfuel?
