this is really for more usable life from the driveline. the stock 210 is an emmisions part, not needed unless you like burning em up.
most issue is i plan on keeping the truck for 25 years so, anything over 185 degrees pretty much destroys engine seals and gaskets after 180,000 miles.
transmission will live longer by getting lower temp heat transfer from engine block .
i live in the desert so the cooler the better, and the more power the motor can make the better.
i do tow and do long mountain trail driving. what else you need....
now can you tell me who carries the part?

Possibly Lingenfelter. I believe it was a 160 that came with my Whipple but I don't recall exactly may have been 180.

Just for reference my old sierra had 258k on it, stock engine, seals, stock 195 thermostat and didn't leak oil. To say that temps over 185 make seals go bad after high mileage is horse crap, the oil system temp means more to the seal condition.
Also in case you didn't know this before and many don't know this, the stock gauge also reads 210 on 07-13 NNBS and the K2XX trucks but the real coolant temp via the temp sensor and computer is 190-198 just about all the time. Hook up a scanner and see for yourself.
