Weird Exhuast Note/Ping Sound

Weird thing to me is it sounds like it’s coming from the middle
of the truck where the headers and y pipe are. I really wanted to leave the exhaust stock for a couple weeks but this sound is killing me. i’m fixing the only other minor leak on the driver header but it’s so minimal that a better clamp wasn’t really needed but I want 100% assurance on any leaks. I really don’t want to chop anything off and it be too loud.. I wonder how it’ll sound without the resonator and only stock muffler

IMO, I think it's the larger 6.2 exhaust and the 5.3 not filling like the 6.2 would.
Not sure if I am explaining this right. But It's hitting a certain frequency in that RPM range and that resonance is what your hearing. That thread Explains what is going on .

I see what you mean. Only thing with that, is black dodge and pooter both are running the same setup without the same note.. only option is to hack the muffler at this point and see what it does

In that second video it sounds like it happens when it's shifting and that sounds like the torque management kicking in. Mine makes a weird sound when it shifts that sounds similar although I only hear mine from the rear. My charger before my tuner got the tuned dialed in made the same noise when it shifted.

Then I wrapped it all with foil and used the wide clamps and it got a lot quieter. I've been exactly in your shoes and tried to stop the leaks many times.
I can promise y'all if you use the speed engineering clamps you have leaks. It's literally impossible for those clamps to smash the pipes together hard enough to stop the leaks.
Unless y'all used the u bolt clamps and smashed the **** out of the pipes. I've tried to pull pipes apart before that had had those on there, you have to just cut that section out so I didn't use them. I'm referring to the flat band clamps that will leave you with leaks.
