Default Verdict on 2015+ Suburbans?

Fellas- storm season is here and I am looking for a newer Suburban that I can sleep in and get some road hours- and the 5.3 in my 2014 silverado makes me think the 2015+ suburban is for me.

Any first hand experience?

Ive read there were alot of first year problems with the 2015's... wouldnt a used 2015 have all those problems fixed?

PS- I will no be towing during these cross country trips, and my gear is really light. Biggest reason for the Burban is length for sleeping in it.

2016 Suburban LT 5.3/6L80E/3.08 4x4 for me. 86k miles and counting, doesn't live an easy life up here in Alaska and is a solid vehicle... my wife and kids head out in it daily and I don't lose sleep.

While I can't speak for the 2015+, my family had 3 suburbans from 1985-2003. All went over a 150k miles with no issues and all were perfect for a family of 4. I just wish I could convince my wife to get one instead of an explorer.

Great trucks, just look for leaking front shocks.
