Me and my brother drove a new eco boost when they came out...neither of us were impressed with the power. Of course we are used to our tuned 6.2's, but this regiment has been going on longer than we been alive! Ha I'm a gm man through and through. I do wish the gm trucks had the extra room like the ford.

2500HD and 3500s will be available for ordering in the middle of October this year. They will begin production in January of 14 and arriving July of 14.
I like the 1500s but won't ever buy another half ton truck again. Would rather have a diesel pickup or something the size of a colorado

The HDs are just tougher trucks all the way around. If your truck is a mall crawler then a half ton is fine but if you actually use your truck the HDs are hard to beat. Sinple things like hauling a 1000 pounds of deer corn is a bit hairy taking a twisty country road whereas my old dmax took it better than when it was empty due to the *** end not being so light. Worst vehicle decision I ever made was getting rid of my 06 lbz. I really miss hitting a hill and hearing turbo spool, no downshifting and screaming up the hill at 4k plus.

i unfortunately had a terrible experince with a 14 gmc, as soon as i pulled off the lot i noticed alot of ticking in the truck, it seemed unusal to me. i was thinking direct injection pump or somthing of that nature. i got about another mile up the road didnt even get to 30 mph. then the truck blew a trans line!!! smoke and fluid was everywhere. i quickly shut it off and went back to the dealer.
the dealer was lucky to have me a gm nut drive it because i didnt really care that much. (things happen). they put me in a all terrain version and was told to beat the hell out of it. i didnt but still, i loved it. it was smooth way more than what i expected from a 5.3 and supposedly if you run e85 the hp jumps? not sure on that but thats what i heard. anyway my overall eperience ill say was good. they made it right and offered one hell of a deal. but i think ill wait for the 6.2 to come out.
