I don't remember but there are probably at least 3-5 other recalls that need to be done. I left Sam a vm maybe he'll call me back. I wouldn't have minded a little ride but thought that was way excessive considering Vettes have to stay low mi.

I was just giving you a hard time. I would lose every single bit of my **** if someone put that many miles on my z06 at a repair shop.

Huh? Didn't get that memo with the 200k I've put on the last two.

Doubt I'll even take my truck in for this recall.

I may have jumped the gun here and assumed they are gonna use the anti lock system to assist the booster and leave it that way, it's more likely they are doing it to provide additional braking for panic situations to get you through until you replace the vacuum pump.

But it's still absurd to me that the problem is the vacuum pump and they admit it, yet aren't replacing it.. Hell why not do the recall and if there are people that have a weak vac pump under a certain mileage just replace those. I don't know. Just seems retarded to me.

Except that it can help in a panic stop when the vac pump is going out. That part I get so I guess it isn't too horrible. Now i'm just arguing with myself so I don't know.

I know Ted, he didn't mean that the way it was written. He has no issue driving the **** out of things. I would assume he meant he would have preferred to keep mileage down for resale.

Holy **** lol! Used to drive mine everyday too until my CPA told me he wouldn't let me write it off as my corporate DD. I was beyond pissed. So that's when I bought the 07 and turbo'd it for my corporate DD. The Vette then became a garage queen mostly. Fun while it lasted...

That I can accept. I just despise it when people buy sports cars and make them garage queens. Carry on!
