Interesting info about backpressure and the flapper

If you have higher back pressure then if you remove it typically it will take more timing. I doubt you’ll notice anything unless back pressure is above like 10psi, unless your NA. I’ve done a bunch of testing on this when I had the blower on.

I'd say about 99% of the people this will apply to will be NA, not many power adder guys are gonna have a stock catback with flapper. And yep on the timing, more timing = more power and MPG.

I was seriously thinking turbo if I had to pull the blower off to fix this issue with the vacuum leak but since it was minor I guess that's a future project probably on an earlier model. So time at the track and maybe a touch up on tune then headers and exhaust next and since the blower isn't coming off no upgrade on the hp fuel. I guess it's gonna be meth and pulley down. Low pressure lift pump if I need it. No cam.

you wont regret a turbo.
