Default Exhaust exit locations

Can't decide on what to do with the tail pipe. I like the dual exhaust look straight out the back but seems so over done. Can't do it before the rear tire because that's right where the kid is and step bars end. Exiting stock location is boring. Thoughts?

I had true duals exiting behind the RR tire, liked it, but totally impossible to keep clean especially after a burnout with the rubber sticking to the hot exhaust tips. Changed it out the rear with the pipes close together and love the look and sound. I had to give up my under bed spare tire location, I have a matching wheel/tire mounted inside the bed so no big deal, super easy to remove to shed lbs.

I'd love to do a dual center exit but I need my trailer hitch. I've thought about the dual side exit. Rubber won't be a problem as this is a daily and a work truck haha.

Dumped has crossed my mind. Run it all the way to the back bumper and dump it there but keep it tucked up so you couldn't see it. Shouldn't drone to bad out there.

Could always do a smoke stack like I did in my younger days

Turns out the stock 6.2 exhaust I got won't fit as it's for the 09-12 trucks so I'm going to have to come up with something otherwise it's going to get a turn down at the muffler until I figure it out.

I have corsa out in the stock location and it looks pretty good. before I bought corsa i was kicking the idea around a stealth and clean look of putting the exhaust out the step in the bumper. Have it flush with the inside of the step so you can still step into it. no visible pipes anywhere and full exhaust.

either that or the dual tip in front of the back tire. I see that with the bald eagle sticker and it looks good.

a clean dual out the back with quad tips might be good looking but i havent saw a pic of it yet. I dont like the rear exit on one side. looks weird to me

1 thing to remember about dumping it towards the ground especially if its a work truck is, it kicks up dust. My not apply to you depending what you do but here on the farm it would suck.
But that being said, on my old 2004 with the 6.0 I dumped it over the axle and loved the way to looked.

I definitely agree with you on the duals out the back. Seems like all the new trucks are doing that too.

BOOM, problem solved!! Lol
