I've been looking at TSP and SE on the headers. Seems I'm going with 1 7/8 as I wont spend $1000+ for ARH 1 3/4
And after researching the l86 manifold I've now got it loaded in a cart and am waiting for the whiskey to kick in to buy it and add that in. $271 for the manifold, throttle body, and gaskets. That plus the long tubes and a custom tune and this truck should border line on fun. Now if only I could swing a cam. Maybe next year .

Amazon has the best price on the manifold. about $120-130 after shipping.. don't pay $270 for one. Lol

*EDIT* I see you combined the price for all three. But yeah, not bad at all compared to some OEM manifold swaps for the LS's.. I will probably go with long tubes first for mine.

That's what I've done and where I'll be leaving it for a while.

Bgbldodge. If you don't want it quiet you wont want the stock 6.2 exhaust with the stock mufflers. Everything on my truck is louder than the 6.2 catback. The intake, the road noise etc lol. But I didn't want mine loud so I like it. But if you get one and cut in your own muffler it's a bargain for what you get.
If you don't mind, how much did you pay for the 6.2 exhaust? I'm searching now. I'd like to leave it pretty decently quiet with the exception of the long tubes and a borla pro xs. I want to keep the cats in place as well

I paid $140 which is well over what they usually go for. I've seen them for $50.

Having cats will help keep it quiet too. They actually quieten down the exhaust a ton so you should be okay. I don't know how loud that borla muffler will be though, I imagine kinda loud compared to the stock muffler because the stock muffler is half the size of the truck, not really, but it's huge.

I slaps right on the truck the only issue you will have is where the pipes meet. The 5.3 exhaust is 3" and the 6..2 3.5" at the end of the y pipe where the cat back bolts up, so you'll need some sort of adapting there.

The speed engineering headers come with two adapters to fit either catback so if you have those headers you can just stick the exhaust right on.

Main problem with using the 6.2 cat back is a lot of guys keep the specific clamp for the ball socket flange. I had to have my flange welded cause the guy kept the clamp.
