Default Cheap 3.5" exhaust

Anyone know of a cheap 3.5" exhaust for these trucks? I'm talking aluminized steel and cheapest available. I'm going to be butchering it to make the exhaust on my truck so I don't care about it. Cheapest I've found is a $400 magnaflow which is to much. Rust isn't a concern where I live so stainless isn't worth much. I know I could go buy a bunch of bends and straight pieces but I'm lazy. I keep browsing for a factory 6.2 but keep striking out.

I don't know about the K2s but I picked up an MBRP "Installer Series" single exit cat back for my 2011 when it was new... it was $320 and I swapped to a Magnaflow muffler that was the same length as theirs. It worked great, was mandrel bent, and I painted it with high temp paint and had no rust issues.

Just did a quick check and only saw 3" installer systems on eBay... not sure if they still do 3.5 or 4" systems or not.

On my 2003 Silverado SS I did a Magnaflow 2x3" into 4" and a Magnaflow prebent 4" rear/over axle pipe out the back, you might be able to shop diesel parts and piece something together as well.

All the aftermarket stuff I saw for the 5.3 was 3", if you look for an aftermarket cat back for the 6.2 it's 3.5 and 4"

MBRP was the cheapest if I remember right.

I struck out everywhere when looking for the 6.2 catback. Someone recommended I make a post on GM-trucks and I did, I had one in my hands 2 days later.

How does the truck run? Just picked up a 2014 last week and I have the bug already to do some upgrades. Plans so far might be a set of long tubes, stock exhaust and replace the stock muffler/flapper valve with a Borla Pro XS and I'm really looking at the L86 manifold swap and then tuned obviously. I've been looking at TSP and SE on the headers. Seems I'm going with 1 7/8 as I wont spend $1000+ for ARH 1 3/4

It ain't a hot rod but it does what I need it to do. I'm just wanting a louder exhaust. The performance is just an added bonus. I'm doing speed engineering headers that I sent off to be jet hot coated, a high flow 3.5" cat, and a 3.5" borla xr1 muffler. I just need the rest of the exhaust piping and then I can get busy cutting and welding.

Nice. I'm tempted to go ahead and pull the trigger on a set of long tubes. In this order of plans: Borla Pro XS in place of stock muffler and flapper removed, catch can, long tubes/y pipe and remainder of exhaust the same, then tune

You'll want to tune and do long tubes at the same time.

I've got the GM borla with the flapper welded open. It's just to quiet. My volant intake is louder than the exhaust.

Huge difference in power/pep in it's step with intake headers exhaust and tune.

That's what I've done and where I'll be leaving it for a while.

Bgbldodge. If you don't want it quiet you wont want the stock 6.2 exhaust with the stock mufflers. Everything on my truck is louder than the 6.2 catback. The intake, the road noise etc lol. But I didn't want mine loud so I like it. But if you get one and cut in your own muffler it's a bargain for what you get.

Only reason I want one is because I'll feel bad for hacking on a $300 mbrp to build my Frankenstein exhaust.
