Default Bed Length Opinion

Looking to build a boosted sport truck out of a 14-16 crew cab. It will be a driven frequently street truck, not really a daily driver but close. Probably only do a 3/5 or 4/6 drop. What the best bed size to go with (5'10 or 6'7). Or does it really even matter? Either bed size will work fine for I do with a truck. Just looking for opinions on which length most people are going to for lowered trucks.

Don't forget that the wheel base is also longer on the bigger bed, so keep that in mind for looks and what that does for driveshaft angles and driveshaft length. You will need a new driveshaft if you plan to exceed 100mph.

I prefer the crew cab short bed look and because I rarely ever need the extra bed space. Mines only lowered 1.5in the front and 3in in the rear.
