Default All these good et's what gear ya'll running

Just curious guy's, with all these good et's out of stock and slightly modded trucks what factory gears do ya'll have, I was thinking 3.42s, any 3.08s, the only reason I'm asking is the truck I'm looking at has 3.08s. THANKS!

3.73's are beasty in these trucks and I'm sure 4.10's will trap some really good speeds

I had a 13 6.2 truck with 4.10s and a loose converter and the 1-2 shift was some kind of quick and actually we never got it worked out before I sold the truck, just kept banging the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift, I think 3.73s would be the stuff, the only problem is where I'm at it's ( south Alabama) hard to fine a good shop to set up a rear end. THANKS!

For the life of me I don't understand why these trucks don't seem to run as strong with 308s from what Ive seen because its like having a 4l60 with 4.00 - 5.00 rear gears because of the 6 speed. I sure wouldn't pass it up if it was the right deal although you may end up changing them. Gl with your decision. Pray about it!

014 denali cc 6.2 3.42 vs 014 GMC Sierra 6.2 DC 3.73.In a quarter mile the 3.73 had 1/2 a car advantage Both bone stock weight very close.

Cool, trying to close the deal on the truck, it's a black 14 GMC, what do you guy's think. sierra, loaded with 41k for miles, out the door for $24k, it's clean, btw, stupid question but what rear end would be in these trucks 9.5 or 9.6, I've so use to the 99-13 trucks haven't even thought. THANKS!

9.5's in 5.3 trucks or 9.76 in 6.2 trucks or early 5.3 Max Tow trucks had the 9.76
